LOS ÁNGELES, EU, 7 DE ENERO DE 2018.- El mexicano Guillermo del Toro consiguió hoy el trofeo al mejor director en la 75 edición de los Globos de Oro por su trabajo en “The Shape of Water”.

En esa categoría competía frente a Steven Spielberg (“The Post”), Ridley Scott (“All the Money in the World”), Christopher Nolan (“Dunkirk”) y Martin McDonagh (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”).

Del Toro es el tercer cineasta latino que consigue esta distinción tras sus compatriotas Alfonso Cuarón (“Gravity”) y Alejandro González Iñárritu (“The Revenant”).
